MY FAVORITE TOP 10 GAMES
Some of my friends ask me what favorite games I am. I'm tired answer all this questions. So, I want the make this list. If you ask me anything of this games, please CONTACT ME, here's my list.
10. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
A classic that's on so many gamers list. An orchestra chief.
Personally, it's my favorite game universe, the one I've created fan-made stories around,
and I've always admired the way it's portrayed.
Since most people are aware of its place in popular culture, I won't go into more detail.
I just want to say that I haven't played another game where the DLCs are as good as, or even better than, the main game.
9. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
Imagine a game where the main mechanic is time-rewinding. Interesting, right? The Prince of Persia Trilogy does exactly that. So why did I choose Warrior Within, the second game in the series, and not the first or third game? Firstly, because of the core mechanics and combat system it builds upon. It's fast-paced, full of combos, and never gets boring. Also, to understand the story and how good the main villain, Dahaka, is, I highly recommend playing it the series.
8. CLANNAD
How emotional can a visual novel be? CLANNAD is the answer. I played this visual novel for almost a hundred hours and finished it completely. So why?
First, I encountered this visual novel through its anime adaptation.
It tells the story of Okazaki Tomoya, a young man searching for purpose in life, going to school just to pass the time.
His mother died in a car accident years ago, and after that, his father's situation worsened considerably; he quit his job and became an alcoholic.
Tomoya's relationship with his father is strained; you won't have trouble understanding the dynamics of their relationship.
One day, while going to school and questioning his life, Tomoya sees a girl.
A girl who says, "Anpan". I won't elaborate further; I recommend you play the game or watch the anime. You will cry a lot, I guarantee it.
7. Super Mario Galaxy
Perhaps one of the best games of all time, and once again making waves with its new movie,
Super Mario Galaxy boasts a defining feature that completely changes the way players navigate 3D space: Mario can walk upside down, run around small planets,
and move between gravitational fields.
This feature fundamentally alters the game's mechanics, ensuring it never gets boring.
Perhaps the only issue for me was that the game was a little too long. I finished it in about 12 hours, and I remember feeling a bit bored towards the end.
However, that's probably less than 1% of my experience.
In my opinion it's Nintendo's best and, for me, most special work.
6. Resident Evil 4
Do I really need to talk about this? You know, we're talking about Resident Evil 4, perhaps one of the most well-known games of this century.
However, it's worth mentioning that this game blends action and horror so brilliantly that even years after finishing it,
I still go back to play and finish it every six months. While the main villain is quite cliché, it redeems itself through its well-developed nature.
Many of the other bosses are similarly clichéd, but they are memorable and their fights are quite enjoyable. I didn't play Remake but I feel it the game is perfect.
You know, this is Resident Evil.
5. Lost Judgment
This game is nothing less than a masterpiece for me.
What about the combat mechanics? Even though it is a spin-off game, it has my favorite and most satisfying combat in the entire Yakuza (or rather, Like a Dragon) series.
Crane, Tiger, Snake, and Boxing styles were all incredible fun to play and great for building combos.
The story is not just satisfying; it is a masterpiece of writing. The plot, the storytelling, and the interesting themes are highly impressive,
but the way it conveys emotions is truly amazing. At some point in the game, your empathy for the bullied children reaches its peak. You genuinely want to take revenge, and the game leaves you in a moral dilemma.
Apart from these, the side activities are very good, especially the "School Stories."
There are 10 different storylines, and each has its own unique gameplay—like Robotics, Esports, Dance Club, Biker Gang, Boxing Gym, and more. The combination of all these creates another great story.
We don't even need to talk about the characters; they are all written like real people. From our main character Takayuki Yagami to the main villain, everyone is memorable, iconic, and well-written.
What can I say? This is definitely a must-play game.
4. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
Just another classic to talk about. This game was gives me suspicion, confusion and fear. To understand just how great its story is,
you have no choice but to play it. You'll be amazed by the things predicted from a time far behind our own, believe me. Furthermore,
the tanker chapter where we control Solid Snake is, in my opinion, the best chapter a game can ever have. When it was released in 2001, some of the innovations
it brought to the game mechanics included dozens of possible interactions. You could hide inside boxes and metal cabinets; enter ventilation ducts; or hang from a metal bar.
The AI is quite good, not just for that year but even today, and the level designs are excellent.
Raiden, the new character we control in this game,
is one of my favorite characters and shows fantastic character development. It definitely lives up to the glory of the
first game and even manages to surpass the excellence of the third game.
3. Devil May Cry 3
If I told you this masterpiece was the first game I ever played, would you believe me? Back then, we had a PS2 at home, and I was just a kid. Like any kid would,
I grabbed the coolest-looking thing, plugged it into the PS2, and started playing. In those days, when I was perhaps just beginning to develop my awareness,
this game was like my sandbox, even though its structure wasn't really suited for that. Of course,
I wasn't concerned with finishing the game; I was just having fun. I was exploring the mechanics, completely absorbed in it.
I didn't play like this for years, of course; I eventually finished the game, but I remember it taking months. Of course, that was never a problem for me.
Since then, I've finished this game seven times. Everything is perfect, from the different gameplay styles to the amazing bosses and the musics I've been humming for over a decade.
So what's missing? The story and narrative. The camera angles are terrible, and controlling the character can be very difficult in some places.
Many of the stealth missions are torture and I'm not exaggerating.
If we disregard all of that, this game is masterpiece, like I said.
2. Final Fantasy VII
Words are not enough to describe Final Fantasy VII. It is one of the best games ever made, and all other RPGs respect it. Besides its story, it will amaze you with its music, characters, and deep atmosphere.
If you have never played Final Fantasy before, this game will bring you into the world of JRPGs, and you will never look back.
Some of you will definitely worry about the graphics.
You can improve them a little bit with mods, but it is a 1997 game, so it might not please your eyes.
However, you need to leave the "good graphics mean a good game" idea behind. The remake of the game is already out, but I believe you should experience the original first.
So, get this game and step into this wonderful world. You will not regret it.
1. Persona 3-4-5
Persona 3, 4, and 5 are among the best games in history to me, and they belong together.
While each game is a complete masterpiece on its own, they all share a wonderful formula.
They combine exciting adventures with everyday student life perfectly.
Together, they create an unforgettable journey that every gamer must experience.
Each game has a different strength that makes it special.
Persona 3 has a very powerful and emotional story that you will never forget.
Persona 4 focuses on its amazing "social links," where the characters feel like your real-world friends.
Persona 5 takes everything to the next level with its modern, stylish, and incredibly fun gameplay.
All three games do these elements perfectly, which is why they are on this list together.
They offer great stories, memorable friends, and excellent gameplay all at once. If you want to see how amazing video games can be, you must play this trilogy.
